I have a Theory about the DaYs oF ThE WeEk (or should it be Daze of the Week?) in the workplace. It goes like this: Mondays are Suck Day. Wednesdays are Hump Day. Thursdays are Pre-Friday Freak Out, and Fridays, well - Freak Out (Whoot! It's the weekend!).

But, where does that leave Tuesday?

Tuesdays are the boring, unsavory days of the week in the workplace, so, I've deemed it 'Unsalted Tuesday.' Nothing exciting every happens on a Tuesday pushin' papers.

So, starting today, all Unsalted Tuesdays will be spiced up with the 5 things I'm loving right now which I'll share, starting...well, now.

Owl on Etsy

Look how cute this felt owl is? It's a garland! I love the attention to detail, and the color scheme. The heart says it all. I can see this hanging in my studio. Owls are a hoot! (Bad, I know...)

TwO:

Argan Oil

I stumbled on Argan Oil by accident. Actually, it was an article about fighting wrinkles (not sure why I was there), but, it highlighted Argan Oil as a great tool for healthier younger skin (apparently Madonna uses this stuff). I ordered a 2 oz bottle  because it was on sale, and free shipping (always a sucker for free shipping....) I've been using it for three weeks now. And I can honestly report that my skin is so soft, and smooth, and has a healthy glow about it. Honestly, wrinkles are wrinkles, and nothing short of plastic surgery will get rid of them, but - it's always fun to discover a new product that is so good for the skin.

Mod Cut Cuteness

I was getting my hair cut last Saturday. I had on the brain 'pixie' cut because my hair was too long (for me). I told my awesome stylist that "today, we are going short!" Then I pulled up the picture of the short pixie I liked, and found this picture  (which I also liked). Typical me, I said, "Oh, cute! Think we can do this instead?" And, thusly, I now have a cute mod cute (and I'm wearing a head band today, with my platinum bad self). Lovin' this style so hard, and looks great with cat eyes made from liquid black eyeliner. Squee!

Speaking of headbands - I Heart This!

With my new sassy Mod cut, I'm all about the headband now. Trolling the web for cute, fun, colorful headbands to adorn my cute cut with. LOVE this one! And so appropriate for Valentine's Day, though (confession) I do love hearts sans V-Day and will wear them. I also wear white after Labor Day. Bad?

African Rooibos Red Tea

I had breakfast with my friend Lisa last Sunday, and we got on the topic of tea. Recently I switched from coffee over to tea. I drink a lot of green tea, and black tea with some honey and lemon. Lisa told me about African red tea, and I stopped on the way home to get some. It doesn't have a lot of caffeine in it, but is high in anti-oxidants which I like (flu fighter!). To mean, it tastes like sweet berry with a tang. I enjoyed it! And I thank Lisa for turning me on to this new tea!
