My name is Alisa and I love to paint! I'm a visual artist on a mission to discover and share with you other artists I've met along the way who are living a creative life full time, and how they did it. I also love to write about my own experiences building a business as a creative entrepreneur. Here we talk artists, artwork, business, and support. I love what I do, and I love to share it with you!

Today's Theme

Courtesy Morguefile.com

Ever hear something that you've heard before, but for some reason it really really resonates with you at that particular moment?

Today, this phrase resonates with me to the core: "What in the fresh hell is this?"

It makes me laugh.

So, it will be my theme today. Every time someone comes to me, I'm going to open with "What in the fresh hell is this?" whether it's merited or not. Why? Because I think it's funny. Especially when it's inappropriate.

And it's a pretty good expression for how I'm feeling today.

For example: 60 degree weather in January? In Illinois? One of the ice cube states (along with Wisconsin and Minnesota). Really? What the fresh hell is this?

See? It's a funny expression.

So much so I actually posted about it.

Have you heard something that grabbed you recently, and you decided it would be the theme of your day?

I want to hear it. Post a comment. Share. Let's all laugh!

Sometimes you just have to. Because laughing is good for the soul.

XOXO
