Inspiration For The Creatively Weary

I know the Universe is listening, so I like to write letters as if I'm talking to my best friend when I'm feeling lost.

Dear Universe,

Thank you for all that you do for me on a daily basis. I know sometimes I throw mini temper tantrums, and can sometimes look at my many blessings with blurred glasses. But I am thankful that you know me, better than I know myself.

Today, I am feeling complicated. My thoughts are stomping around my brain like unwieldy, hungry children finger painting arrows  in all different directions with bright, bold colors. I'm not sure what direction to take next in this exciting, challenging, and sometimes scary pursuit of my dreams. I am not always armed with the tool I need right now to make something happen in my impatience.

But I know you know me, and my heart, and my dreams. And today, instead of chasing after wild horses in my bare feet, I will simply let my fears go, and just: Trust. 

I trust you know what lays in store for me - big things. Wonderful things. Created just for me. From you. And I know the right tools will come at the right time, and I will know what to do with them.

Thank you for loving me. I love you, too.

Putting it out there with gratitude, and a heart felt letter, puts everything back on track.
